Kimberly Reynolds believes every moment has a story. Whether through non-fiction, fiction, visual imagery, or corporate brand content, telling those stories is her passion and life's work.
Kimberly grew up in rural Georgia and her first memory of creative writing is as a little girl writing a poem about the family dog in orange magic marker. She now lives in the same region with her husband and children on their family farm.
A marketing executive for more than two decades, Kimberly holds a B.A. in English, M.A. in Strategic Communications, and will soon finish her Ph.D. in Social Psychology. When not writing her dissertation, she is working on a novel influenced by her rural roots and her farm kids’ antics, Millie Russell's Chicken Creek Chronicles. Additionally, Kimberly captures the critters on the farm and other visual moments in her photography.
Kimberly began writing a faith-based blog in 2012, Mortars and Pearls, while her military husband (since retired) underwent treatment for a Traumatic Brain Injury. While no longer an active blog, Mortars and Pearls is the name of a collection of personal stories Kimberly continues to write, often with themes of hope in the midst of difficult times.
